Betty Hakes Obituary

Betty E Hakes age 83 of Seaman, OH, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2018 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 13, 1934 in Williamsport, PA, the daughter of the late Marion K and Ester (Hagenburger) Berninger. She was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Hakes and brother Richard Berninger.

Betty is survived by 3 sons; Charles (Lisa) Hakes of Towanda, PA, James (Robin) Hakes of Seaman, OH, Jeff Hakes of Williamsport, PA, 3 daughters; Barbara Hakes, Roberta Hakes and Jody Hakes Warnasch all of Williamsport, PA, 2 brothers; Bob Berninger of NY and Glenn Berninger of Williamsport, PA, 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Following cremation, a memorial service and burial will be held at a later date in Kellyburg, PA.
