Elsie A. Grooms

Elsie A. Grooms age 87 years of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Arden Court in Cincinnati.  Mrs. Grooms was born June 28, 1930 the daughter of the late Albert & Vina (Coldiron) Ralston in Adams County, Ohio.  Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lowell “Whitey” Grooms.  Four brothers and four sisters.

Elsie attended the Towne Street Church of God where she was a member of the choir, taught Sunday school and was a soloist.

Survivors include her son Mark & Tammy Grooms; Brother Albert Lee Ralston of Dayton, OH; grandchildren Lynsay & Jim Arlinghaus and Logan Grooms.  Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union with Rev. Leon Petree officiating.  Burial will follow in the East Liberty Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home the day of the service.
