Candee L. Culp

Candee L. Culp, 66, of West Union, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at her residence.  She was born December 18, 1953 in West Union, daughter of the late James Lloyd and Hattie Ruth Boyd Prater.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Shoffstall and her brothers, Larry and James Prater.

Candee enjoyed nature, whether it was spending time in her garden, feeding and watching the birds or watching the wildlife and other animals, she just enjoyed being outdoors.  Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Charlie Adams of Mobile, Alabama, Crystal Weiderhold and husband Nick of Williamsburg, Clint Adams and wife Teresa of Goshen, Charity Ehlers and husband Mike of Lynchburg, Vonna Simmons and husband Sean of Norfolk, Virginia, Doug Culp Jr. and James Culp both of West Union; several grandchildren and her brother, Barry Prater and wife Elaine of Cherry Fork.

Candee will be cremated.  No services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are entrusted to Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
