Franklin D. Scott

Franklin D. Scott, 91, of Bentonville, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care Center in Seaman.  He was born October 4, 1932 in Manchester, son of the late Alexander and Hilda Reeves Scott.  He was the widower of the late Hazel Williams Scott, who passed away in 2020.  In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruby Potts, Marion Scott and Mae Cooper.

Franklin liked to go gambling and enjoyed going deer hunting when he was able.  He was also a big sports fan, especially when it came to Baseball.

He is survived by his son, Ronald Trubee and wife Judy of Bentonville; grandson, Tracy Trubee and wife Stephanie of Bentonville; great-granddaughter, Autumn Dugan and husband Ryan of Indiana and his great-great-granddaughter, Emilia Dugan.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.  Pastor Richard Lloyd will officiate.  Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery.
