James "Jimmy" Shoemaker

James “Jimmy” Shoemaker, 37, of Manchester, passed away, Thursday, March 28, 2024.  He was born February 1, 1987 in West Union, son of Pamela Hesler Holsinger and Tommy Shoemaker both of Manchester.   Jimmy was a Machinist by trade, but worked other jobs as well.  Jimmy loved working on cars.  If it had an engine and gears, it would be taken apart to see how it all worked. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Freddie Holsinger; brother, Joshua Horner; paternal grandparents, Charles and Della Hunt Shoemaker and his maternal grandparents, Jess and Helen Wells Hesler.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind two beautiful children, Bella Jade and Keegan Michael Shoemaker; brother, Joseph (Hannah Wagner) Megarry; sisters, Sarah (John Roberts) Bowling, Carrie (David Bender) Womacks, Jessica (Shawn) Markwell and Lakota Thacker.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1:00 PM, until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.  Brother Tommy Tapley will officiate.  Burial will follow at Sandy Springs Cemetery in Green Township.
