Tamita "Ciss" Tipton

Tamita “Ciss” Tipton age 78 years of Peebles, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center Seaman, Ohio. Tamita was born August 23, 1941 in Peebles, Ohio to the late Emmett & Mary Jane (Ramsey) Hopkins.  Besides her parents she is preceded by her husband Melvin Tipton, grandson Lucas Scott and a brother R.D. Hopkins.

Survivors include two daughters Tangela Tipton of Irvine, KY; Angela Knox of Clay City, KY; two sons Gregory Tipton of Piketon, OH; Christopher Tipton of Peebles, OH; one sister Rita Thomas of Peebles, OH; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. the day of the service.
