Virginia "Jenny" Lee Cummings

Virginia “Jenny” Lee Cummings, 86, of West Union, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center in Maysville, Kentucky. 

Jenny was born in Redbird, Kentucky on March 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Barry and Mildred Slusher.

In addition to her parents Jenny was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Jean Satterfield and a brother Leonard Slusher.  She is survived by her husband, Gene Cummings, her brothers Kenneth (Debbie) Slusher, Billy (Faye) Slusher, and brother-in-law, Bill Satterfield.  She is also survived by her step-children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Jenny was a member of the West Union Methodist Church and attended the Grace Fellowship in Peebles, Ohio.  Jenny was a member of the West Union Eastern Star, OES #246.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Dean Kirker officiating.  Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held the day of the service from Noon to 1:00 PM.
